Happy Monday! And to all my American Friends, Happy Memorial Day! How was your weekend? We’re currently at the lake opening up our cottage for the summer season. I’m so excited for warmer weather and time at the lake with my family and friends.
You guys, I have a lot of shoes. I’m kind of a hoarder in that way. Lol! And surprisingly, nude heels are one of the few pairs of shoes that I don’t have. So, when FSJ Shoes asked me to collaborate with them, I jumped at the opportunity to add a pair of nude heels to my closet. If you’re not familiar with FSJ Shoes, they offer on trend shoes at an affordable price point. And they offer every style of shoe you can think of – flats to Mary Jane, stilettos, mules, sandals, boots, etc.
I picked out a pair of 4 inch nude patent leather D’orsay heels, I’m a big fan of this type of heel. I think a D’orsay heel is such a sleek and sexy style. Also, it instantly dresses up any outfit.
Now I have to say, all nudes aren’t created equally. There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to nude heels because there is a fair amount of diversity found in skin pigments. So, finding that right shade can be tricky. And by tricky, I mean, like finding a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. Lol, Kidding. This nude has a peachy pink undertone in it and therefore looks more pink than nude with my skin tone. Anyhow, even thou this wasn’t the perfect nude shade for me, I will say the quality is great and the price point was affordable. You can see more of FSJ Shoes here.
Pink seems to be having a moment in my closet and if I’m being honest, I kinda like it. It’s too bad it was so windy the day we shot these pictures because you can’t see how cute this bow top is 🙁
Have a great week!
