Prints can be scary/ intimidating to wear! The trick is to find a way to make them work for YOU and your STYLE. Instead of following a current trend. Floral prints used to scare me, big time! Why? Most prints usually had way too much color and felt way too girly for me. And there’s nothing wrong with being girly. It’s just not my style. However, the past few seasons florals have gotten a darker makeover and I love it! The darker backgrounds make floral prints feel fresh to me. It’s still feminine but has a fun edgy twist, which is the perfect balance for me! And of course, I layered this dress over a black cropped lace top and a pair of joggers for fun.
