Striped Blazer And Platform Shoes

In Fashion, Outfit of the day by wR23Fs2Sqi39 Comments

Happy new month! Last weekend it snowed but this weekend, it was nothing but sunny skies! And the tress are starting to bud. What a difference a week makes! How was your weekend? Have you ever had one of those weekends where you eat so much that you wake up with a food hangover? That’s how I feel today. I ate a lot. This weekend consisted of two b-day celebrations, one bloggers brunch and a bbq with my family yesterday. And I’m official stuffed. Lol!

You guys, how great are these platform shoes?! My favourite thing about them is the height! Yes, they are super comfortable, which is always a bonus. But they make me feel tall! I’m 5’4” which isn’t short but when everyone in your family is 5’11” and up…you feel short. That’s why I love the platform trend because it makes me feel tall without putting any stress on my knees. It’s a win-win situation 🙂

  1. Yes yes and more yes!!!
My problem with platform shoes is my tiny ankles. My little ankles look so skinny in platform shoes so I don’t wear them often but you look bomb dot come here boo!!
I love the colors in this look Jackie, great choice!
Have a great start to your week beautiful <3

  2. What an amazing weekend you had, girl, full of lots of celebrating and great food I bet! As for your outfit, I adore both the blazer and those platform sneakers! I definitely want to get a pair myself, especially as I near the end of my pregnancy for the reasons you’ve mentioned, they add the perfect amount of height, are comfy, and don’t add any pressure to the knees. Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!

  3. The platforms are super chic and really compliment your entire look. The blazer is really a closet staple as you can wear it casually as you have done or dressed up with a black pencil skirt and stilettos

  5. I think the shoes are fantastic although I never tried platform heels myself. But they look and stylish and comfortable!

  6. How chic and stylish are you! I’ve been wanting platform shoes but wasn’t sure if I could pull them off. Well, you lady, make them look so goood!! I love how you styled the look with a polished blazer too! And wow I always thought you were taller heheh. I am 5’4″ too and I can’t imagine if all of my family members were 5’11” and up! heheh Have a great week, beautiful!

  7. Love this look! I don’t think I could rock this like you do! Those platform and that jacket, awesome style!

  8. OMG snow! I thought it was bad here when it dips into the 30s at night! It has been cold here like all week and miserable! I loveee this gorgeous striped blazer and love the longer length on it! What a gorgeous and chic look!

  9. Hahaha food hangover, you just came up with the perfect description for the morning after a late, enormous dinner! I have felt it many times to be honest! But right now I can talk a lot about how much I love this striped blazer! I am not into combos of dark colors but this blazer I would wear it oh so gladly! Amazing find and amazing styling with this bag and platforms!
    Thanks for the inspiration!

  10. I hope that the snow is done up there. I need to send some warm weather your way. I love this look. You styled it so well and I am obsessed with your shoes. I found a pair at Aldo, but now it’s summer so I’m not sure if I should wait for the fall now. I feel they are still trendy anyways. I’m short too so I love adding the height as well.
