Living It Up With The Lincoln MKZ Hybrid

Recently, I had the pleasure of partnering up with Lincoln to test drive their 2018 MKZ Hybrid for a week and celebrate the end of summer. You guys, the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid is pure luxury! The design is sleek, and the interior feels so luxurious that you just want to live in it. Seriously, the first thing I did after picking up the car was open the massive panoramic moonroof (fully retractable too) and popped my head out to take in the views… By the way, it’s perfect for stargazing at night.

The week kicked off with celebrating one of my best friend’s birthday. We thought it would be fun to surprise her with a night of private shopping and snacking on some sweet treats. So, I picked up the girls in my #lincolnmkz and we headed over to Margot & Maude. And we wasted no time trying on some fun fall fashion.

It was such a fun night and a great way to spend some time with the girls. You need that every once and awhile. On the drive home, one of the features I discovered about the Lincoln MKZ Hybrid was the adaptive LED headlights. I live outside the city which means I do a lot of highway driving and having lights that adapt to the environment was so helpful. I never had to worry about switching my lights because the car did it for me. Which also made it so much easier to spot the deer.

One of the things my family and I love to do over the summer is spending time at the lake. This year we weren’t able to spend as much time out there as we normally like to. So being able to get out there a couple days earlier and make it an extra long weekend with my mom was really special.

The drive up to Winnipeg Beach was a smooth ride thanks to the adaptive cruise control with stop and go. When the MKZ is in adaptive cruise mode, a radar scans the road ahead and detects slower traffic ahead. It automatically brakes and accelerates to keep you at your set speed and follows with the pace of traffic when speeds are below your set speed. It was like having a second driver with you. And I also have to mention the available lane-keeping system which is so helpful with long highway driving. This system alerts you when you start to drift unintentionally out of the driving lane. Seriously, so helpful.

The Sync 3 touchscreen system is pretty cool. It’s easy to navigate your way around it and it’s compatible with Apple Car Play and Android Auto too. Although I will admit it took me a moment to get used to the push button shift instead of the typical gear shifter.
We also took a few trips up to Gimli from Winnipeg Beach and every time my mom had to sit in the front seat so she could take advantage of not only the air conditioning in the seats but the lumbar massage too. Yup, both driver and passenger seats have a lumbar massage which just makes you feel like you’re being spoiled. You have to check out my Instagram story highlights – here to see my mom enjoying her massage chair. She makes me laugh.

All week I felt so glamorous driving my Lincoln MKZ Hybrid, they’re well known for their standard luxury features. And I have to say it did not disappoint. Everywhere you look and touch there’s a feeling of luxury. I really didn’t want to give the car back! Lol! Have you driven a Hybrid?

Have a great week!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Girl, you look SO GOOD in that car! I love the ivory color of the leather. Most of the time, car brand only offer the beige, which is a little darker and more of a brown, but this is so pretty against the white. Lincoln is definitely stepping their game up with their designs. Happy belated birthday to your friend, you all look so beautiful and stylish and I’m sure had a great time celebrating! Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this model and I hope you’re having a great weekend so far, beauty!
