Late Summer Sweater Weather

In Fashion, Outfit of the day by Jackie S.6 Comments

I can’t believe summer is almost over. I honestly have no idea where the time went. Work has been keeping me busy and leaving very little time for blog work. But I can’t complain because I’ve had the opportunity to work on some pretty cool styling projects this summer. One of them was working on set as a stylist for a music video. It’s actually the lead music video for a movie that was filmed here in Winnipeg. It was a lot of hours but such a fun experience!

How cute is this forever 21 sweater? I love the punch of color and the open knit weave makes it a fun late summer sweater. I’m one of those people who is always cold even in the summer, which is why I like to pick up a few lightweight sweaters that I can wear now thru fall. They’re great at keeping you warm on those cool summer nights and the perfect piece to layer over your swimsuit or even a slip-dress. The weather over here has already started to cool down and I have a feeling I will be wearing this summer sweater on repeat 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!

xo, Jackie

And yes, I’m with you – where the heck did the summer gooo, pls don’t gooooo!
Brava on styling a music video -would love to seet that!
And your hair stylist is the shizzle, loove how he serves different tones of grey with your look – really love this Storm look, Xo

  2. What?! Girl, that’s awesome, congratulations, that’s such a huge gig! I’m sure you did some great styling. As for your outfit, I adore that sweater and love yellow on you. I know you love your black and neutral outfits, but girl, color looks so good on you! I’ve seen sweaters like this so often, yet never thought of them being perfect for this transitional time and they really are! They provide a little warmth, yet they’re still practical for when the days warm up because of the holes. I’ll have to purchase one when I come across them again. Thanks for the inspo, my friend, and I hope you have a great week ahead!
