White Off The Shoulder Pom Pom Dress

In Fashion, Outfit of the day by wR23Fs2Sqi64 Comments

I guess you could say I’m a little obsessed with anything off the shoulder lately. But really, who isn’t. There’s just something about showing off your collarbone, it’s sexy in a subtle way. And off shoulder tops and dresses look good on everyone. Besides after a winter spent hidden under sweaters, our shoulders deserve a little time in the sun 🙂

I just love this dress because it makes me feel all kinds of girly. Sounds silly right but as a kid, I was a die hard tomboy and never wanted anything to do with dresses. I always felt “out of place” whenever my mom would put me in a dress. Did I mention that my mom shaved my head as a little girl to teach me a lesson for giving myself a haircut. To be fair, I did cut off all my bangs. I know, it was stupid but I was 4 at the time. Needless to say, anytime my mom put me in a dress, I felt like a boy. Sigh
Fast forward to today, as you can tell, things have changed. I still shy away from really feminine dresses because I feel like I can’t pull them off. However, this off the shoulder dress with its super cute ruffle overlay and pom pom detail makes me feel like a lady! Lol! And I love it 🙂 Did I mention it’s on sale too?!

On a more personal note, thank you so much for all the well wishes for my hubby. We flew back home over the weekend, the surgery went well and he’s now on the mend❤️

  3. I LOVE this dress, beautiful, and it looks SO good on you! I love how it has combined a few of the season’s trends into one and how they all work together so well! You’re little story made me laugh because it reminded me so much of myself, I was the SAME way! I was such a tomboy, always hanging out causing a little mischief in the neighborhood, haha! I hated skirts and dresses and wearing jewelry, too! My mom and family would always buy me jewelry and I would always throw them off and loose them 🙁 It’s crazy to think how much we’ve changed and how feminine we are now, haha! Anyway, thanks so much for sharing, gorgeous, and I hope you have the best week ahead!

  4. What a great outfit, off-shoulder pieces are trending heavily, so I can see why you love it. Glad to hear your husband is on the mend. /Madison

  5. I seriously love this dress and you look amazing. I hope some day we can do a photoshoot together. That would be so much fun. SERIOUSLY. As a kid I was a tomboy too but loved dressing up as well. I always dressed up at school. I was always matching too lol. Looking back at photos kinda makes me cringe. lol

  6. I can’t believe it – a kindred spirit! I too cut off my bangs at around that age – the day before my kindergarten school pictures! My best friend and I had a pair of sewing scissors in her closet and did the damage there. :-/ But about your outfit, I absolutely love everything about your black and white ensemble with the blue bag. So cute and sexy – I guess it’s possible to have both!

  7. I also cut my bangs when I was a kid. Haha! Those were the days. I miss wearing off-shoulder dresses/tops. I haven’t worn one in years. xD
