I don’t know if it was the long cold winter, but lately I find myself reaching for dare I say ‘softer’ pieces, like this pink polka dot top. Which is currently the most feminine piece in my closet right now. If you’ve been following me for a while, then you know I always like to have a bit of edge to my looks. But every once and a while I like to let go of my tomboy ways and embrace my inner feminine/girly side. Which always makes my mom happy! Lol 🙂

Polka dots are one of those classic prints that will never go out of style. Plus they’re a cute and fun print to wear. And over the last year, it has gotten a bit of a modern makeover. Gone are those smalls dots instead we’re seeing the prints on a much larger scale, mixed in with other patterns and lots of vibrant hues. From tops to dresses and accessories there are so many ways to incorporate this trend into your closet. I chose to style this blouse with white denim to make it fresh for spring. But I also think it would look so sharp paired with a pencil skirt or even with a pair of wide-leg pants or denim.
