Last Minute Valentine’s Day Outfit Ideas

In Fashion, Outfit of the day by wR23Fs2Sqi29 Comments

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I just got back into town from Alberta, Canada and it was just as cold there as it is here 🙁 In fact, they had a mini snowstorm while we were there. Anyhow, we were out there helping my mother-in-law Ada move into a seniors’ complex. I think having family support there for that transition in your life is really important. I can’t imagine what it’s like to pack up your life and memories…decide what to keep, sell or donate. And then downsize to a suite (a good size suite) & give up a certain amount of your personal freedom. It’s an adjustment that’s for sure hard but Ada is rather excited that they have a red seal chef making all their meals. I could get use to that! Lol! And she has already met some pretty fantastic people.

  2. I’m glad that your mother-in-law likes where she’ll be now calling home, which is so incredibly important! I worked in a senior’s complex, but in a different unit and it was so cute to see them taking their classes and just enjoying themselves. As for your outfits, I love them ALL, girl! You look absolutely amazing and so fierce and your hair looks so incredibly good; this length suits you so well! When I was pregnant (and even every now and then) I was getting an itch to cut my hair just like that. I didn’t do it because everyone was telling me it was the hormones and when you’re pregnant, it’s not a good idea to make such drastic changes like that, as you may regret it later, haha. So, I’ll live vicariously through you because honestly, I don’t think I can pull it off. Anyway, I hope you have the best week ahead, girl!

  3. All looks are on point but my oh my are you rocking that lil’ lace backless dress- that’s a show stopper hon. And sounds like you’ve set up your mother-in-law in her new phase of life in a great way…so many elderly folk don’t get that which can be sad…have a lovely day hon. X
