Embellished Military Jacket + Giveaway

Oh hello daylight saving time, you are my favourite thing about November. One of my best friends has two kids and she says daylight saving time means nothing to her because her kids still get up at the same time. Fair enough but isn’t it so great to have an extra hour! Lol! I just want to take a moment to say thank you so much for all your kind comments about my brother. I feel so lucky to be part of such a kind and supportive community. I will try to keep you posted.

When I first saw this embellished military jacket from Choies, I knew I had to have it. Everything about it screamed pick me…the brass looking buttons, the rich embroidered trim, the funky red collar. Needless to say, I did pick it. Sometimes I have very little will power. But it’s fall and in my book, you can never have too many coats.

This embellished military jacket felt more 18th century to me than the military jackets from back in the 60’s & 70’s. I love the cropped style and the sharp crisp shoulders. And because of that, I thought it would be a fun contrast to pair it with jogger pants and ankle booties. Gotta add a bit of edge, right?! Thou, I do think you could easily style this jacket with a blouse and skirt and still have a very chic look.
