Different Kind Of Plaid + A Moto Jacket

In Fashion, Outfit of the day by wR23Fs2Sqi57 Comments

Oh Monday, we meet again. Hope you had a great weekend. My weekend was full of pumpkin carving, roasting seeds, good food (gluten-free pizza) and The Walking Dead. Never in my life did I think I would be a fan of a zombie show because I HATE zombie movies but my husband got me hooked on this show. Though I will say, I feel like it’s getting a little too violent for my taste. Anyhow, for those who did watch it, can I just say OMG to last night’s premiere!!

I bought these silver and black plaid jeans a few seasons ago and I remember feeling a little hesitant about buying them. On one hand, they were so unique and nothing like anything else I’d ever seen. I mean, silver plaid? How cool is that?! But I worried it would be a “seasonal” purchase and at that price point, was it worth it. Don’t get me wrong, I’m all for investing in premium denim as long as it’s a piece I know I’ll get a lot of use out of (cost per wear). Anyhow, the fact that they were so different and funky pretty much sold me on them and plaid will always be in style. Right?! And every time I wear my plaid denim, someone always asks me where I bought them. Safe to say this is the one time I’m glad I ignored that little voice in the back of my head 🙂

  1. Ah, they are not my size! What are you doing to me! Lol. I love them, and that wonderful bracelet! Thank you for linking up with me!

  2. Sounds like a great weekend full of fun fall things! Loving your plaid jeans. The silver does make them unique. I can understand your hesitation, but it sounds like you have gotten enough wear out of them to totally justify. Plus, I love how you styled them.

  3. I’m loving those paid jeans, girlie! They’re so unique and justifiable, too, because you can dress them up or down because of the color palette, making them less trendy, great call 😉 I’m also such a fan of those shoes, I know I say that every time, but they are so lovely! It sounds like you had such a great weekend, girl! Pizza is my absolute weakness, we had some too, and truth be told, I’d have it every weekend if I would never gain a pound as a result because I tend to eat more than a socially acceptable amount, lol! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have the best week ahead!

  4. Guurl this is one of my FAV looks of yours, the tomboy chic look is FIRE! So much rich texture here- leather, plaid, cotton…I adore the silhouette, the fit of the trousers, that edgy bracelet- AAAAAGH!!! I am gasping for breadth as I type this, haha. Ok Biki, Calm Down!! ( :

  5. Girl. I’m the SAME way when it comes to designer denim. I try to only by quality jeans except for when it comes to something I think is maybe trendy. But this was definitely a great pick. They are so amazing and look gorgeous on you!

  6. I don’t watch zombie movies. I’m more into vampire stuff haha 😛
I keep hearing people talk about the walking death, may be I should check it out.
You look great in this outfit. I really love you jacket and pants. Really trendy 🙂
