Black & Green Turtleneck Weather

In Fashion, Outfit of the day by wR23Fs2Sqi34 Comments

Hi guys! How was your weekend? My mom came over Friday night and we finished binge watching Gilmore Girls. I love that show. Did you guys watch Gilmore Girls back in the day? My mom and I used to watch it every week together so we were beyond excited when Netflix decide to bring it back. Side note, did anyone else notice all the Kate Spade apparel in every episode?

These pictures were taken just before our TWO day blizzard!! It was bound to snow eventually but I could really do without the -20 temps. I mean, that’s January weather. Anyhow, I’m just getting around to posting them now. I don’t know what is about me and turtlenecks but I can only wear them when they’re loose around my neck. Or else I feel like it’s suffocating me. I’m weird like that. Since the bitter cold weather has finally set in over here, expect to see me in sweaters, turtlenecks and lots of layers for the next few months.

  2. Happy new week Jackie! I don’t like tight turtlenecks around my neck as well so I purchase super soft ones:) I absolutely love this look and how you accessorized with your outerwear and glasses! Very beautiful! Have a wonderful and blessed week

  3. Beautiful pants. I have the same thing with turtleneck, I can’t stand it when it is to tight.

  6. That’s so cute that you and your mom watched Gilmore Girls together, my mom and I used to watch all the time and I used to try and convince her that she should be a cool mom like Lorelai, lol! Did you expect that ending though!?!?! Anyway, the way you feel about turtlenecks is how I feel about chokers, which is why I haven’t worn them, as much as I love the look of them. I love this turtleneck, it’s s chic and classic, I love the color combo! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you have the best week ahead!

  7. Hey Jackieeee! I’m like you with turtle necks, if they are too tight I feel like the walls are closing in and I tug like crazy to stretch’em! Muy big sis liked Gilmore Girls and would record and send VHS tapes to me (Yup, that far back!). I must admit when it comes to the WB teen thang, I muchoooo preferred- Buffy, Dawson’s C, Felicity…but I did enjoy the season when Rory (?) got with the town’s ‘bad boy’…must have been so lovely to watch with your Ma and go down memory lane. Loving the statement scarf and brogues. X

  8. Crazy to think that those photos were taken just two days before the blizzard. Snow sure did accumulate fast then lol.Gilmore Girls is a show I was never interested in. I can’t watch anymore shows though. They take up to much of my time. haha I hope you have a great rest of your week.
